Finished season 7 of THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER and i was REALLY happy with the guy who won.
Very sympathetic and surprising. Looking forward to september and season 8!

Never thought that i would like the UFC one day but.. now i´m into it!
MMA is much more interesting than Boxing at the moment.
Most of this could be because of this AWESOME book:

Don't be put off by the cover.
The author (shown being covered in blood) is a pretty normal guy that is interested in finding out more about the world of fighting and the cool thing is that he is ready to step into the ring too.
Its partly filled with his experience training different fighting styles and partly written as a kind of "why do people fight?" "why do we watch people get hurt?" subject book.
Its also full of links and quotes from other books and i cant wait to read some of them too.

The Men Who Stare At Goats is a must-read 2005 book by UK journalist Jon Ronson about the US government's interest in very strange stuff, like Jedi powers, psychic spying, subliminal sound weapons, and the potential to kill something (like a goat, or an enemy soldier) just by looking at it. Fact or fiction, or most likely some of both, it's an absolute blast to read. (And Ronson's BBC Channel 4 documentary based on the book, Crazy Rulers of the World, is a lot of fun too! the easter thing

So its the easter weekend and ive returned to my parents home once again.

The last time ive been here was around christmas and its a nice thing to see spring blooming in the garden and snow falling from up above at the same time.

I consciously did NOT bring my DS or the ps2 with me to force me to get some work done.
But the reallity is that im not doing anything apart from eating and browsing and that my mother is mad at me for not bringing the DS and my sister is dissapointed because she wanted to try guitar hero.

So my life pretty much resolves around:

Watching every Season of Seinfeld




and drawing the cat sleeping on the couch.

the new old scanner

ive always thought that my scanner is a cheap piece of junk.
scanning pencilwork was impossible and i was planning on buying a new one later this month.
but thanks to mr.mexer this is no longer necessary!
he suggested to update the scan software and to try fiddling with the settings and LO AND BEHOLD, i´m able to scan pencil drawings!









OTHER THAN THAT:

- i´m currently playing FINAL FANTASY 12 and its great.
the last time i had this much fun with an RPG was while playing KOTOR.

- i really like the music of MOVUS

- lots of headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome (the later is slowly getting away i hope)

30 second relationsships

If there is a thing like a 30 second relationship, i must be one of its masters.
the one thing in common in nearly all of my days for the last years is that i´m having
30 second relationships throughout the day with allot of women.

we meet, we talk, we have a date, we break up (mostly because of me) and of course, its all in just in my head.

it happens while sitting in the train, while going shopping for food or in the gym.
i see a pretty and/or interesting woman, i try to imagine what kind of person she is.
what would she laugh about? what would be our first date? why would she be pissed at me?
how long could it last? what are her parents going to say? is she able to deal with my mostly dumb jokes?

this might be some kind of compensation for not having a real relationship in a while or i could be doing it because its fun to characterize people and how they would behave in certain situations.
in any way.. i had 4 relationships today and 3 of them lasted a while and went without any big trouble.
go figure.

OTHERTHANTHAT
- i finished season 2 of the WEST WING and season 3 is coming up
- i ordered a camera, this is going to be the first one i EVER owned
- bought a new moleskine and i´m not shure if i should unwrap it now
- this makes me puke on the inside

i dont really understand this.
ive been watching this show, the entire first season, in less than 4 days and i m now full into the second one.
i repeat:
the entire season in just a couple of days..
of the west wing...
a show about the American political system.
