woke up in the morning,
made some coffee,
looked out of the window and WOW, there it was.


what a great way to start a new day.

And the new RADIOHEAD is finally here.

You can pay as much/ as less as you want and then download the album.
Great new way of bringing music out there and the album is awesome so far.
Highest recommendation possible!

ITS AN UPDATE

Ive been busy getting older, trying out the new wacom (and the new monitor) and ive wasted ALOT of time in zeldaland.

Nothing posted today is really DONE, the Tingle picture especially seems not so hot at the moment.

30 second relationsships

If there is a thing like a 30 second relationship, i must be one of its masters.
the one thing in common in nearly all of my days for the last years is that i´m having
30 second relationships throughout the day with allot of women.

we meet, we talk, we have a date, we break up (mostly because of me) and of course, its all in just in my head.

it happens while sitting in the train, while going shopping for food or in the gym.
i see a pretty and/or interesting woman, i try to imagine what kind of person she is.
what would she laugh about? what would be our first date? why would she be pissed at me?
how long could it last? what are her parents going to say? is she able to deal with my mostly dumb jokes?

this might be some kind of compensation for not having a real relationship in a while or i could be doing it because its fun to characterize people and how they would behave in certain situations.
in any way.. i had 4 relationships today and 3 of them lasted a while and went without any big trouble.
go figure.

OTHERTHANTHAT
- i finished season 2 of the WEST WING and season 3 is coming up
- i ordered a camera, this is going to be the first one i EVER owned
- bought a new moleskine and i´m not shure if i should unwrap it now
- this makes me puke on the inside

I think i´m getting a cold

Painting and game design

Ive been painting for the last couple of days and its
been a very frustrating experience.
I'm just not able to mix something that looks like skin color, paint anything that resembles a human being or sketch a landscape in gouache.
I know that learning a craft is never easy.. but this is driving me nuts.
Oh well.. ill try harder tonight.

On the lighter side of things:
This is perfect game design.
A japanese guy made some mario levels that are hacked so that the player is able to complete the levels WITHOUT the use of a controller!
This must have been very hard testing work.

THE WEST WING

i dont really understand this.
ive been watching this show, the entire first season, in less than 4 days and i m now full into the second one.
i repeat:
the entire season in just a couple of days..
of the west wing...
a show about the American political system.

it hurts in the back to work like this AND its difficult to not smear the whole ink allover the board.
but fun nonetheless

while watching KING KONG the second time, the mind wanders and pages get filled with lines.
(the bug scene still creeps me the hell out)




Other than that, im trying to understand Zbrush3,
i got a new book,
and its constantly raining when im about to paint in the park.
